Two Ronald McDonald Houses

Many families travel far from home to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured child. Often, it can be a long time to be away from home, or to divide a family. And for children facing a serious medical crisis, nothing seems scarier than not having their mom and dad close by for love and support.

Allow Children to Get the Best Care

When your child is sick, you want the best care possible – even if it is hundreds or thousands of miles away. Our Ronald McDonald House program provides a “home-away-from-home” that allows families to access specialized medical treatment at little or no cost. Our Houses are built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on healing their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal, or where they will lay their head at night to rest. We believe that when a child is hospitalized the love and support of family is as powerful as the strongest medicine prescribed.

The 25-bedroom House offers four special isolation suites for our most immune-compromised patient and offers several common areas, including a family kitchen, dining room, library, game and craft rooms, laundry room, and large outdoor playground.

Our address is 3312 Gallows Road, but since we are on the hospital grounds, please use the hospital address of 3300 Gallows Road, take the Blue Entrance to the end (you will see the water tower ahead of you on the left) and beside you there will be a road on your right, take that road, go about 200ft and the Ronald McDonald House is on your right. It looks like a big greyish, green house with white pillars out front. On the front of the house, on the left, you will see our numbers 3312.
